Situated on an elevated site in Clifton Gardens, the building takes the form of two masonry volumes split by a central lightwell and access way. Living and kitchen areas open up to garden terrace areas embracing the North-easterly view to the Heads. Upper floor volumes house bedroom areas and are orientated to maximise national park and harbour views. The narrow building widths enable excellent cross ventilation and sunlight access to all spaces with operable screens controlling sunlight and ensuring privacy.
