UNDER CONSTRUCTION | FOX JOHNSTON ARCHITECTS
This building takes the form of an elongated and punctured ovoid, intuitively responding to its unique site conditions on a busy arterial road. A series of apartments have been carefully designed that provide acoustic buffering as well as embrace a central lush garden courtyard. Entrance lobbies, a private garden pathway to the North and a public through-site link to the South combine to provide an enlivened and active through-site connection. The landscaped podium in particular serves as a green oasis for residents that spill out to the public domain in a verdant green sequence of planting and water features. Ground floor retain spaces serve to activate and invigorate the public through-site link, creating a dynamic fine grain at street level.
